A few months ago I attended the 21st Annual Textile and Apparel Trade and Transportation Conference. It was sponsored by USA-ITA and AISA. I picked up a Hand Sanitizer in a portable clip-on spray dispenser. It was premium given out by The Port Authority of NY & NJ. I did a little research on the item. The patent is held by Natural Trends. This is a great item. I keep it in my coat pocket and use it all of the time.
Currently it is being promoted as a premium and being given out free.
It's elegant, easy to use, and has a smaller profile then the small Purell bottle.
Nobody Asked Me!
I think that this item has great potential for licensing for professional sports teams, character licensing, cities (think I Love (heart) New York) and retailer private label licensing. This items should be as ubiquitous as bottled water and those reusable canvas totes tote bags that every store is trying to sell us.
I think that every sports venue, amusement part, museum, etc. should have these with their names and logos. Retailers in general should be selling private label versions at their checkout counters (e.g. Staples, Wal-mart, Whole Foods, etc.) Then the character licensors could sell assortment packs with various characters.
This item is being totally under distributed.
